Murraya koenigii herb that extends up to the height of .4 – 6 meter. The Murraya koenigii  grows in tropical regions and rich soil like Nepal India a Sri Lanka and almost everywhere in the Indian subcontinent and extends to Himalayas and in the east to Burma The plant produces small white flowers which can self-pollinate to produce small shiny-black drupes containing a single, large viable seed. The berry pulp is edible, with a sweet flavor.[The Murraya  koenigii  belongs to the family Rutaceae. The Murraya koenigii oil is extracted by steam distillation.
